Chengdu West Star Chips Co., Ltd. (WSC) founded on the 15th of November in 2001. It is a wholly foreign-owned high-tech company. It does not only deal with research and development and selling IC in consumer electronics, but also offers our customers the designs and technical support services of total system solutions on the basis of WSC chips with independent property right.
WSC adopts the newly chip designing technique, simulation and integration method in Silicon Valley of U.S.A., and it Combines with outstanding talent people in China, introduces 0.18～0.13µm, very large-scale IC design.
WSC has scientific and technological capabilities to a great extent.  We have an academician of American Academy of Sciences, US President Award winner, senior professor of Stanford University, and Chief of Stanford University Information Research Institute (IRI) – Professor Suppes as our corporate consultant and senior researcher of the IRI of Stanford University - Dr. Lin Liang as Chief Technical Officer.  In addition, WSC has employed and trained a group of IC design elites such as IC design engineer, software engineer, technical support engineer, et al. forming a strong design team. West Star is capable of offering the leading-edge ASIC/SOC design solution and technical support, including chip netlist, front-end logic design, board / FPGA design verification, hybrid signal modular design, etc. in response to customer’s requirement for either full-scale architecture design service or in part.  WSC has also established good collaboration relationship with the world famous IC foundry forming a vertical integration arrangement to provide a comprehensive design, backend layout process, and manufacturing services, and as such is capable of meeting various demands of our clients.
